Homewood Lumber - Vacaville

Message: Jonathan and Ceasar were of great assistant to me! They help me right away for even a small request to cut up some wood for me. They're awesome.

Message: Great store, found everything I needed that Home depot and Lowes didn't have! But I would recommend taking more photos of the product range, especially lumber yard for google maps.

Message: If you need a kitchen. DO NOT go to Lowes. DO NOT go to Home Depot. Go to Meeks. We started our remodel planning on cabinets, tile, flooring sourced from one of the big hardware stores. Once we got the our contractor involved he shut us down (always ask the pro) and sent us directly to Shelly at Meeks. Spending the same amount of money we received higher quality cabs, tile, hardware, flooring, and design. One of the big stores quoted 3 weeks for someone to come out and measure. Shelly was in our kitchen the NEXT afternoon. She made up several designs and emailed them in TWO DAYS. Once we decided on a design the cabs were built and delivered in 10 days not 6 weeks.. custom cabinets in 10 DAYS. Floors for the entire house with trim.. two days. Hardware.. 3 days. In the time it would have taken a big hardware store to just MEASURE we had EVERYTHING neatly stacked up in the garage waiting for my contractor to install.. If I had a question or issue, Shelly responded via email or text same day and resolved it personally. If we wanted something slightly different she got it with no problems. I am annoyed that I can't give more than five stars.. Now if we need anything from lumber for custom shelves to the stain that goes with it or paint or anything really, we go to Meeks first and everyone bends over backwards to help us (thanks Victoria! ). I thought this type of service didn't exist anymore and was DREADING the cost and pain a remodel would inflict, but Meeks made it actually enjoyable. We didn't go a dime over our budget and completed the project on time. What else can you ask for?.

Message: Best customer service and if you ask for Trisha, she knows her stuff. No need to walk around looking for stuff when she helps you pick everything out. It's rare to find such great service.

Message: No crowds! Plenty of staff! I finally found 1/2 inch PVC "pipe" that bends (Charlotte pipe, out back in 10 foot lengths) for a hoop house! They have the stiff PVC too, in shorter sections. They are from different companies, with similar specs, and I don't think they are interchangeable.

Message: I am a longtime resident of Vacaville. Recently, I started a do-it-yourself deck project. The employees have been extremely friendly and helpful, whether I'm in the store or out in the lumber yard. They help me find and choose lumber in their sprawling selection, cut it to size, and squeeze in a local delivery to their busy schedule when possible. Helpful hint: open a cash account. You get a 5% discount and they cut the delivery fee in half.

Message: As a general contractor I have been working with Meeks in Vacaville for 3 years now and have been very happy with the service and material I have received from everyone there. From lumber deliveries to cabinet design they have been exceptionally helpful and courteous. I look forward to continuing to work with them.
